This Privacy Policy explains how povo LLC ("povo", "we", "us") handles information in connection with our website povo.ch and the applications and online services we provide (together, the "Services").
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. If you contact us, we receive your email address, name (if given) and the contents of your message.
Product data. When you use one of our products, we process only the information needed to provide it (for example account details or content you choose to store). Each product describes what it collects; where possible, data stays on your device.
Diagnostics. We may receive crash reports and aggregated, anonymized usage statistics to keep our products reliable.
Website. This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) for security purposes for a limited period.
2. How we use information
- To respond to support requests and other correspondence
- To fix bugs and improve the stability and performance of our apps
- To protect the security of our Services and comply with legal obligations
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Tracking
We do not track you across apps and websites owned by other companies, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.
4. Third-party services
We use carefully selected service providers (such as hosting, email delivery and payment processors) who process data on our behalf under contract. Mobile apps are distributed through app stores, which handle payments under their own privacy policies. Where a product relies on a third-party service, it is disclosed in that product.
5. Data retention
We keep support correspondence only as long as needed to resolve your request and meet legal, accounting or reporting obligations, after which it is deleted.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the Swiss FADP or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by law.
8. Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. International transfers
We may process information in countries other than your own. Where we do, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
